Our Business
Lumivest Capital is a financial advisory and market intelligence company focused on China. We aim to provide on-the-ground information in understanding the evolving economic and investment landscape in China. We aspire to build an investor network by leveraging our insights and engaging in conversations that matter to investment decisions. We provide practical advice to help portfolio managers and investment funds scale up their businesses. We aim to create value for investors on both sides.
Lumi- is from the Latin word “Lumina”, meaning physical lights. Metaphorically, it describes enlightenment, clarity and guidance. Our mission is to be your light when it comes to investing in China.

Our capabilities
Nan Liu - Founder
Nan is the founder of Lumivest Capital. She previously worked as a product specialist at Allianz Global Investors and Invesco, focused on China and Asian equity strategies. Prior to these, she was part of the research team at Deutsche Bank and also a deputy economist at the Economist Intelligence Unit, responsible for research and economic forecasting of China’s national and regional economy.
Nan holds a Master in Economics from London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from the University of Hong Kong.
